NOW OR NEVER......

Its time to rise above the set boundaries that limit you. Time to forget the past and lean not on it. Time to let by-gones be by-gones. Time to look at all the fertile opportunities that wait in the future to be discovered and used to your advantage.

The journey seems long, so your will to survive will have to be strong. All it will take is FOCUS. Ask your self, AM I WILLNG TO EMBARK ON THIS JOURNEY ? If you know you wont do a good job, DO NOT START! (For the record, the battle is already ongoing)

Best of luck to US, cos am in this too .

IT ALL COMES DOWN TO LOVE

HOW WILLING ARE WE TO LOVE OTHERS?
HOW WILLING ARE WE TO WISH OTHERS WELL?
HOW WILLING ARE WE TO GO THE EXTRA MILE, JUST TO PUT A SMILE ON ANOTHER MANS FACE?
....IT ALL COMES DOWN TO LOVE

GOOD NEWS GALORE!

We all want to hear, say or see things that bring us joy. The question however is, what are we actually bringing to the table, to make us live our dreams? We should start by identifying and attempting to solve problems in our vicinities. Only then would we realise that we are the change that has been eluding us. It all begins with us , the INDIVIDUALS.
If you want to see the valley, go to the mountain top.
If you want to see the mountain top, rise to the skies.
If you want to understand the skies, close your eyes and think.

There comes a time when you have to go the extra mile to make a difference.
Safe Journey!

HOMOWO IN JAMES TOWN (BRITISH ACCRA)

Homowo is the Festival of the Ga people on the coast of Accra, the capital of Ghana. Homowo literally means "Hooting at Hunger". Food is a vital part of the ceremony and the entire ceremony a real spectacle to behold. It is celebrated on different dates among the Ga communities. I witnessed the Jamestown "version". Enjoy the ride..

One of the Chiefs sprinkling Kpokpoi, the traditional food for the season.

A procession through the streets of the community by Chiefs and people

Kpokpoi in all its glory. It is served with palm nut soup.
No one can deny this beautiful ladies the joy of the season. Joy unlimited..

Others ensured there was something to laugh about.

Do not miss it next year.

SURVIVAL THEORY

In life we encounter a whole lot of problems. Some of our own doing and others not. We have to sneak out and continue the journey no matter what or who caused it. I have my "Survival theory" to share with you.

1. TARGET: What you aim to achieve. If you do not have a dream worth dying for, then you are not fit to live.

2.STRATEGISE: Plans to achieve the set target. Failing to plan is planning to fail.

3. ACT: Start taking steps in the right direction and remain focused.

4. EXPECT: Have the heart and mind of expectancy always. Look forward to the day you touch the fruits of your labour. It will spur you on.

5. GUARD: Once you achieve your set target know that you have to work extra hard to mentain it. Just like working faithfully for 8 hours a day and getting promoted to work for a few more hours on board meetings etc.

I have been inspired by BOB PIXEL, NANA KOFI ACQUAH AND NII ARMATEY to take the shots above. The pictures are Straight Out Of The Camera (SOOC), a term I learnt from Bob and also found on Nana's blog.

THE BATTLE LINES ARE DRAWN. YOU ARE NOT PERMITTED TO FAIL!

... IN THE EYE OF THE BEHOLDER

There are tons and tons of images around us. The beauty of these images are sometimes easily spotted and at other times simply ignored for some reason or the other. The "beholder" has the final say. The following shots were taken in my 'hood as I decided not to go look elsewhere for inspiration.

These cans were once on the shelves and had contents useful to humanity, just like our lives. We have to conceive, believe, achieve and inspire others before we expire. The only constant in this life is change.

Timing was important to get a shot like this. I however took about five shots before achieving my set target. The only one who does not commit any errors is the one that does nothing. Be ready to go the extra mile. See you at the TOP.
